01Introduction & scope

This Privacy Policy explains how PokeFun Capital and its affiliates (“PokeFun”, “we”) collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use the PokeFun platform, investor dashboard, the RIPVault marketplace and related services (the “Platform”).

It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Disclosures & Risk. By using the Platform you acknowledge the practices described here.

02Information we collect

  • Identity & KYC data — legal name, date of birth, nationality, government ID, photo/verification media, and investor-eligibility/accreditation evidence.
  • Contact data — email, phone, residential and correspondence address.
  • Financial data — source of funds, bank/payment details, subscription amounts, distributions and tax information.
  • Wallet & on-chain data — wallet addresses you connect and the public transactions associated with them.
  • Usage & device data — log data, IP address, device/browser information and interactions with the Platform.

03How we use information

We process personal information to: operate and secure the Platform; verify identity and eligibility; administer investments, custody and marketplace activity; calculate and make distributions; meet legal, tax, accounting, KYC/AML and sanctions obligations; communicate with you; prevent fraud and abuse; and improve our services. We rely on lawful bases including performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and, where required, your consent.

04Identity verification (KYC / AML)

Why As a platform handling investor capital, identity and source-of-funds checks are a legal requirement, not optional.

We and our verification providers process identity documents and related data to satisfy KYC, AML, sanctions-screening and counter-terrorist-financing obligations. We may retain verification records for the periods required by applicable law and may decline or terminate access where checks cannot be completed.

05How we share information

We share personal information only as needed with:

  • Custodians — AVault and related custody/insurance providers for Asset administration.
  • Verification & compliance providers — KYC/AML, sanctions-screening and blockchain-analytics vendors.
  • Auditors & professional advisers — for independent audit, valuation, legal and tax purposes.
  • Service processors — hosting, payments, email and analytics, under data-processing agreements.
  • Authorities — regulators, tax authorities and law-enforcement where legally required.

We do not sell your personal information.

06International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) as required by applicable data-protection law.

07Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform and to meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting requirements (which, for KYC and financial records, may extend several years after your relationship with us ends). When no longer required, data is deleted or anonymised.

08Security

We apply administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security and you also play a role by safeguarding your credentials and Wallet keys.

09Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific statutory rights. To exercise them, contact us using the details below. Some rights are limited where we must retain data for legal/compliance reasons.

10Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, maintain sessions and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

11Wallet & on-chain data

Blockchain networks are public and largely immutable. Transactions associated with a Wallet you connect may be permanently visible on-chain and outside our control. We cannot alter or delete on-chain records. Consider this before connecting a Wallet or transacting.

12Children

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Version” and “Effective” date above indicate the current release; material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email.

14Contact & data protection
